The Power Flame CX Small Diameter Industrial Process Burner is designed to fire directly into small diameter (1-1/2″ to 6″) immersion tube heat exchangers. It is used to heat water and similar aqueous solutions in a wide variety of industrial process applications.

The Power Flame CX process burners feature an innovative technology that requires no combustion chamber and minimal intrusion into the heat transfer working area. CX process burners operate directly into a small diameter immersion tube heat exchanger, which is submerged in the liquid to be heated, such as acids, alkali cleaners, phosphates, cooking oils, lubricating oils and waxes.

The CX Series system is a fully integrated combustion package. Power Flame provides single responsibility for control system design, burner and fan selection, as well as the optimum heat exchanger configuration. The computer-generated CxCALCTM software produces a timely response to complex design parameters.
