Tasked with surveying the existing mechanical setup and specifying replacement equipment, ATI designed custom boiler solutions to suit the building’s tight physical footprint while delivering reliable heat throughout the entire school.
An Installation That Called for More Than Standard Equipment
The Manhasset Secondary School’s boiler room presented unique challenges from the outset. The school’s original boilers were located in a concrete pit with limited access. ATI responded with a creative, highly technical solution: the use of field-erected boilers. Delivered in pieces and assembled on-site, these units were custom-welded and fabricated in place, overcoming the space limitations and ensuring the new system could be installed without compromising future service access.
To further address the floor clearance challenge created by the pit location, ATI designed the system with extended saddles, allowing for easier future tube pulls and serviceability. Every decision factored in long-term maintainability and real-world use by facility personnel.

- Two Industrial Steam Boiler Model ISB3-300-15 Boilers
- Two Power Flame C6-GO-30HTD Dual-Fuel High Turn Down Burners
- A custom master boiler control panel
