The elements are made of a highly corrosion-resistant Incoloy-sheath (332 SS), with nickel chromium resistance wire packed in magnesium oxide powder, and configured in a U-tube design. Elements are available in both 1-phase and 3-phase ratings and are limited to 75 watts per square inch power density to ensure long life.
